OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium)

Mapsolute GmbH has just released a new software component providing standardized access to map images. The MapTP Web Map Server 1.0 has been certified by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) to comply to the widely used standard OpenGIS Web Map Service 1.1.1 (Basic Profile).

OGC compliancy assures a high level of quality, interoperability, and transparency for customers. Adhering to WMS as an international standard means providing interoperable geospatial solutions. Since many Geo-Information Systems and Spatial Data Infrastructures heavily rely on this standard, Mapsolute products become available to a broader field of applications.
