Map24 AJAX API

Use the Free Map24 AJAX API to develop professional mapping applications with the unique interactive mapping technology of Map24. The applications can be used free of charge on a public, non-password-protected, freely accessible, commercial or non commercial website on the internet. You will be asked to agree to the complete Terms of Use during the registration process. There is a daily limit of 10,000 transactions or sessions per application key. Maps may contain advertising. If you would like to use the Map24 AJAX API free of advertising on your website or in your product, please contact Map24 sales.

To use the Free Map24 AJAX API, you need to create an application key. The application key is bound to a directory on your web server and to a map. You will be asked to choose both during the registration process. For each application key, you can create as many directory aliases as you like. This extends the validity of an application key to further directories on the same or different web servers.

With the release of Map24 AJAX API version 2.0 the registration for the 1.2 API has been discontinued. You can continue to use version 1.2. It is still supported. However, the recommendation is to use version 2.0. It is the more mature, faster, and feature rich software. New functionality is only added to version 2.0. Existing users of version 1.2 do not have to register again. Go directly to the Map24 administration site and add a 2.0 application key.

Besides using the Free Map24 AJAX API you can license Map24 Business Solutions to use Map24's services without any restrictions.

Please note that the application key that you receive after registering for the Free Map24 AJAX API cannot be used as authentication for other Map24 services such as the Map24 Web Services.
